Emotional Freedom Technique
Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is a healing tool that works on the energy meridians of the
body to release stagnant energy and thereby alliviate healing. EFT is designed to improve health by
tapping on the body's energy centers.
What is the theory behind EFT?
EFT goes below the surface, and looks for unresolved emotional issues such as anger, anxiety,
fear, guilt, or trauma, and then works on the emotional memories associated with them.
Once EFT clears out the emotional debris, physical ailments start to fade.
Headaches, back pains and other discomforts may reduce or vanish as emotional issues improve.
Which issues can be healed with EFT?
EFT can be used as a potent stress reduction tool.
EFT can be applied to every aspect of life.
EFT can be used for many emotional issues, including fear, trauma, depression, and grief.
Why does EFT work for many issues?
The reason it works for so many different issues is that there is often an element of emotional stress in
all of them, and that's what EFT works best on.
Does EFT guarantee 100% success in healing an issue?
Like any other stress-reduction method, EFT is not perfect.
It is not a panacea, and it does not have a 100% success rate.
But it usually works reliably for reducing stress, as you'll see if you read the research.
EFT can often achieve substantial relief with little or no pain.
This is not true for everyone, however. Some people's issues are so intense that the mere mention
of them causes emotional or physical pain.
If you have emotional or physical problems it is essential that you consult your physician or licensed mental
health practitioner, since EFT is not a substitute for medical or mental health treatment.
